Last August, Carrie and Ed said their “I Do”s at one of our favorite venues, The Langham Chicago. Their wedding was both classic and sophisticated, and they had a beautiful (and delicious) cake to match. Take a look at their lovely photos by Artisan Events below.
Carrie and Ed’s three tier wedding cake was composed of clean, white fondant with a pearlized fondant ribbon at the base of each tier. The middle tier had a subtle circle imprint with their first initials, C/E, in the center. The overall design of their wedding cake was neat and relatively simple, while maintaining an elegant look.
HMR Designs provided fresh orchid blooms to adorn their cake.
The couple took their top tier home, to freeze and enjoy on their one year anniversary. (Note: we offer our non-Langham hotel affiliated clients a fresh complimentary tier if they would prefer to serve their whole cake at their wedding!)
